SOOO good to hear an update from Annasley after the marlin encounter!
Typically, she is very cool about the whole thing; marlins spear ocean rowing boats every year, and so it’s the sort of thing that will strike fear into most people’s hearts. But Annasley just thought it was cool to see one in the flesh!
The most brilliant part about this video though, is where she talks about the speed she’s going. It’s much slower than she would like, and this can be really frustrating. But instead she sees it as the fact that Mother Nature has decided she still has lessons to learn out here, and she won’t release Annasley until those lessons have been learnt.
So, with challenging conditions hampering progress, Annasley is now waiting for her epiphany or similar lesson to become clear, at which point, perhaps Mother Nature will give her a helping hand!
